Card Storage

Merchants can avoid handling any raw card data on their system by accessing card tokens created by customers on a clearinghouse’s dedicated portal, extracting the tokens and applying them to the stored data tables with the SAP system.

As with the Account Management module, this functionality is also provided as a separate application transaction within SAP to control the linking of the SAP Payer Account with the clearinghouse’s account details, and synchronising the data between the two systems.

There is no payment functionality associated with this module, it is used solely as a method of accessing stored clearinghouse data and therefore is only relevant for clearinghouses that support this process.
